The Louisiana Recreation Cheerleading Association Spirit Elite Team peforms at collegiate and professional sporting events across the state of Louisiana. The Spirit Elite team is open to ages 7-17. Tryouts are not involved; the team will consist of 12-20 participants registered for each event. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. Be sure to check out the 2011 SLU All Star Performance video!

Registration Fees: The $45 registration fee covers the cost of the performance t-shirt, shorts, hair ribbon and the admission for the event. The $25 registration fee covers the cost of the performance t-shirt and the admission for the event.

  • $45 per participant for 1st event
  • $25 per participant for each additional event

Spirit Elite Performance Uniform:

  • Event t-shirt
  • Black cotton shorts
  • Hair ribbon
  • White socks
  • Shoes ideal for cheerleading

Performance Day:

  • Participants will have two hours to learn, review and perfect the performance routine on the day of the event.
  • Portions of the performance material may be uploaded to LRCA's website for participants to learn before the performance day.

Travel:

  • Parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting participants to and from events. Directions will be provided.
  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay throughout the duration of the event day.
