LRCA competitions will be held at various venues throughout the state of Louisiana during the months of November and March. Competitions are open to all Louisiana recreation cheer squads.

Registration Fees:

• $25 per cheerleader
• Free for coaches and administrators
• There must be at least 5 teams registered by the designated deadline in order to conduct the competition.

Spectator Fees:

• $5.00 per person (ages 5 and up)
• Tickets may be purchased online or at the door on the day of the competition, unless stated otherwise.

Surface & Flooring:

• All performances will take place on a matted surface.
• There will be a separate warm up area. The warm up surface may or may not be matted.

Music & Timing:

• Each team will be responsible for providing someone to control music. Music must be provided on a standard CD. Backup copies are recommended.
• Routines must include a cheer/chant portion.
• Routime Time Limit: 2:30 minutes. Timing will begin with the first organized movement, choreographed vocal or beat of music.

Awards:

• Scoring Scale (max. 150 points)
• 1st Place = 101-150 points
• 2nd Place = 51-100 points
• 3rd Place = 0- 50 points
• All teams will receive a trophy for placing in the competition. All cheerleaders will receive ribbons for placing in the competition.
• Grand Champions
• The team with the overall highest score in each level (not division) will be named the grand champion for thatlevel.
• Grand Champion teams will receive a team banner.
