The Louisiana Recreation Cheerleading Association was established to support all Louisiana recreation cheerleading programs through coach/administrator certifications and cheer events and activities. Louisiana recreation cheerleading programs include groups that are affiliated with any Louisiana municipal association, parish government association, independent sports organization, or YMCA.

• Educate administrators on how to run a successful program
• Educate coaches and cheerleaders on proper cheer skills and techniques
• Educate coaches and cheerleaders on proper cheer safety procedures
• Build the recognition of recreation cheerleading in the state of Louisiana
